Product Warranty Information
Product Warranties are provided by the manufacturer of the window covering and are also known as Manufacturer Warranties. These Product Warranties are typically “Limited Lifetime Warranties” and usually cover defective parts or materials. These warranties do have conditions unique to each manufacturer and product. A Product Warranty can be provided to the consumer upon request. The Product Warranties are typically only valid to the original purchaser and do not cover misuse or abuse. Most Product Warranties are not transferable.
How Do I Request Warranty Service?
The best way for us to expedite your warranty service is to fill out our “Repair Request” form on this page. In order to repair a shade, we will need to order replacement parts/product from the original manufacturer. The manufacturers require the information in our “Repair Request” form to process the claim. Additional information may be needed depending on the nature of the repair.
What Are My Options For Repair Service?
1) Manufacturer Returns – Defective shades can be sent back to the manufacturer for repair by the homeowner. Before shipping your product back, we will need to process a claim with the manufacturer and provide you a claim ticket. You will attach this to the box when you return the defective shade. Shipping a shade typically costs between $40-$85 to ship directly to the manufacturer. They will pay for return shipping.
2) Replacement Parts – The manufacturer will typically ship replacement parts directly to the homeowner at no charge. Simple repairs can be done easily by the homeowner. These simple repairs include: Replacing a missing tassel, replacing a missing shutter staple, replacing a defective breakaway tassel, etc. Videos and instructions can be provided upon request.
3) In Home Service – For advanced repairs, we offer In-Home Service from our installation team. In-Home Service is offered at no charge for a limited time from the date of purchase. When that time has passed, a service charge is required to perform In-Home work. A Service Warranty can be provided to the consumer upon request.
