 A)  Yes we do.  We believe that one important component of a beautiful shutter installation is the  correct color choice and as a result we offer custom painting and staining.  We also offer a variety of finishes including smooth, sandblasted,  and glazed.

 Q) What makes your wood shutters different from other companies?
 A) Our wood shutters are engineered and built in Arizona with our unique climate in mind. We use the following woods:

 Basswood

Basswood has inherent qualities that make it the first and best choice for high quality shutters. Basswood is a North American species harvested from renewable forests. The wood itself has a tight grain, is structurally stable, and lightweight. Basswood is versatile and can be painted or stained. Southwest Blinds & Shutters does not substitute lower quality wood options like finger jointed wood or MDF.

 Knotty Alder

Over the years Alder has become  a major component in wood finishing elements in homes throughout Arizona. With its radical grain and knots Alder shutters are a great choice for a rustic look. We have become very proficient in working with this unique wood.
